LANCASTER – A Lancaster woman was charged with fatally injuring her mother during an argument. 34-year-old Elissa Waltman is accused of pushing 63-year-old Eileen Flugrath into a wall, which caused her to fall down a staircase outside Flugrath’s residence in the 100 block of Pickwick Place in Millersville the morning of April 5. Flugrath died of her injuries four days later. An autopsy determined Flugrath died of traumatic head and neck injuries she sustained in the fall and her death was ruled a homicide. Waltman later admitted to having pushed her mother. Waltman was denied bail at a preliminary arraignment Thursday morning and remains in Lancaster County Prison.
