HARRISBURG – PA Department of Aging Secretary Jason Kavulich highlighted a $3 million investment in PA’s Senior Community Center grant program. The program helps to fund projects to ensure older adults are supported in familiar, local places with services to stay healthy and connected to their communities. Kavulich said Senior Community Centers are a valuable resource to older adults in every corner of the state. Whether it’s a meal, health and wellness activities or socializing, these centers help seniors thrive and continue to live independently as they age. Lancaster’s Spanish American Civic Association, Lebanon County’s Myerstown Senior Center, and two York County facilities: Dillsburg Senior Activity Center and Windy Hill On The Campus Senior Center were awarded grants.
