LANCASTER TOWNSHIP – Lancaster Township Police are asking for the public’s help locating a man wanted in connection with an antisemitic incident at an Orthodox Jewish synagogue and school.
Police say Joshua Albert Reisinger posted antisemitic and derogatory signs, including one displaying a Nazi “SS” symbol, at Degel Israel Congregation on Columbia Avenue in September.
Police say a congregant removing one of the signs saw Reisinger across the street. Reisinger allegedly pointed his fingers at the man like a gun and made a shooting gesture.
An arrest warrant was issued yesterday. Police say Reisinger had been staying at a Lancaster-area hotel, but has since left. He may be staying at a local shelter.
Anyone with information is asked to call Lancaster Township Police at 717-664-1180.
