HARRISBURG (AP) – Democrat Janelle Stelson will try again to challenge area Republican Congressman Scott Perry after losing to him in 2024 in a close race in the 10th Congressional District. She made her announcement today. Stelson was a former local TV anchor, who had been Republican, but changed to Democrat. Perry’s campaign says fundraising has been its strongest since he’s been in Congress, and that the issues that propelled President Donald Trump and Perry to victories in 2024 will still be relevant in 2026. With Washington controlled by Republicans, Democrats need to flip three seats nationwide to retake the U.S. House majority and block Trump’s agenda.
