STATE COLLEGE – The National Weather Service in State College confirmed a fourth tornado from the heavy storms that came through our region on Thursday, Aug. 20. They determined an EF-0 tornado with peak winds of 85 mph touched down near Habecker Church Road in Manor Township, Lancaster County at 4:37 p.m. doing damage to several cornfields. Three other tornadoes occurred that afternoon. An EF-2 tornado struck eastern York County, an EF-1 tornado damaged Columbia Borough in Lancaster County, and an EF-0 tornado came down off of S. Centerville Road in Manor Township, Lancaster County.
