HARRISBURG – Responding to Gov. Tom Wolf’s request to provide his review of a proposed congressional redistricting map, York County Rep. Seth Grove, Chairman of the House State Government Committee, has invited the governor to a public meeting to fully discuss the map and listen to the governor’s thoughts of it. Grove said in a letter to Gov. Wolf that he has taken the liberty to reserve Room 60 East Wing in the Capitol on Jan. 6 from 1 – 5 p.m. The room is capable of providing a live video feed and has public seating available. Grove said he will ensure the room is set up to maintain six feet of distance between participants and that participants wear a mask. The invitation to the governor is open-ended. Grove said if Jan. 6 doesn’t work for the governor, he’s more than happy to rearrange his schedule to meet at a time that best suits him. Grove said he hopes the governor is able to meet and discuss a topic as important as our federal representation in Congress.
