DAUPHIN COUNTY – The Steelton Highspire School District will be joining Swatara Township, Steelton, and Highspire Police Departments in conducting an Active Shooter Training Exercise on Friday, August 26 at the Steelton Highspire campus. It’s part of ongoing planning and preparations to ensure the safety of the students and staff at the schools. The exercise will begin at 8 a.m. and conclude at 1 p.m. The exercise will involve multiple local police and fire departments, EMS services, and school district personnel.
